There is a good selection of places to eat in Coroico. Since the town is popular end point among mountain
bikers of Death Road and a popular weekend getaway among Bolivians from La Paz, you'll find a good range
of restaurants that caters to them.

You'll can find a wide variety of international foods from Europe and of course the local Bolivian food. You can
find a number of relatively inexpensive places to eat around the plaza in Coroico.

Below is a short list of eateries from restaurants, bars and cafés that are worth a try. Feel free to add your own

Carla's Garden Pub
For a laid back evening with great music, an international mix of customers and a wonderful selection of
libations......Carla's Garden Pub is Coroico's newest drinking spot. Carla is a great source of local information
and great to talk to......she frequently offers live music on weekends ranging from local Andean music to jazz,
blues and rock.
Carla also can arrange for those of you that may be interested in Coroico's new 'Zipline' and don't forget to try
the chuchuhuasi.

Back-Stube Cafe
In a day with a good visibility, this is the place to be where you can have your lunch with beautiful views of the
surrounding mountains and valleys. This cafe-bakery has good sandwiches, soups, salads and many bakery
items.

Villa Bonita
Located near Hotel Bella Vista, here you can sit overlooking the cloud forest of the Yungas and listening to
chilled out music in the shade. Here you can go for some burgers, fries, ice cream, sandwiches, pastas and
vegetarian food.

Bamboo's Café
A great place to for some Mexican food such as tacos, burritos and enchiladas. It is also a good place to go in
the evening for a few drinks or a candlelit meal.

Located on the main plaza, this is a good place to find real German pastries and arte mania

Located at the hotel with the same name, here you can sit indoor or outdoors and see beautiful views over the

meats, vegetarian food and much more tasty plates.
