worth booking in advance. Conversely, you can find places more quiet midweek or during low season
that are priced at a great bargain.
Since Coroico lies in the subtropical terrain of the Yungas, you'll notice it is much more warmer and
humid than La Paz. A hotel that has a swimming pool is a nice option to have to cool off and relax.
Even if you are on a tight budget, it is worth spending a little more to stay somewhere comfortable with
a swimming pool.

Probably the most popular place to stay in Coroico, this hotel has spectacular views over the
surrounding valleys. The place is set in a relaxing atmosphere with swimming pool and sauna. There
is an on site buffet style restaurant, all Suites & Deluxe rooms with Sat. TV. ( channels in english)
internet-cafe and Wi-Fi. They offer comfortable rooms with views, private bath and private balcony.
They also offer rooms for budget travelers.
Location: 400m up Julio Zuazo from the plaza
Hotel Bella Vista
Located two blocks from the plaza, this hillside hotel has great views, a racquetball court and video
salon but no swimming pool. Rooms are modern and clean, and some have amazing views. The hotel
also rents bikes.
Location: Heroes Del Chaco, two blocks north of the plaza.
Hotel Don Quijote
Located about 1km east of the plaza, this place is popular among Bolivians during the weekend. It has
a bar, restaurant, and swimming pool. A good mid-range option with comfortable and clean rooms.
Location: 1km outside town on the road to Coripata.
Hotel El Viejo Molino
This top-end option is located 1km northeast of town. The hotel has a nice size pool, sauna and
jacuzzi. All rooms have private bathrooms, TV, and breakfast included.
Location: 1km outside town on the road to Caranavi.
Hostal Uchumachi
This is a good budget option located next to the tourist information on the plaza.
